Prediction
Wasteful finishing summed up Scotland’s draw against Slovenia but Sebastien Pocognoli will be pleased with the clean sheet, which is a nice small positive for his first game in charge although the team now needs to add a clinical final touch if they’re to beat a higher-level opponent.
Switzerland might not exactly be a top-tier team but they are undoubtedly dangerous floaters with their depth and quality, which was evident in their clinical win over North Macedonia but Scotland hasn’t exactly been a happy hunting ground for the Swiss over the decades.
This clash therefore will be a tough scrap if both teams bring their best game but I do fancy Switzerland to win this if not draw.
