Christian Ho has been replaced by Niccolo Maccagnani at Rodin Motorsport for the 2026 F3 season finale in Madrid, Spain.

Maccagnani’s promotion came after Rodin and Ho decided to part company for unannounced reasons, which paved the way for Maccagnani to step up from Italian F4 where he has claimed two wins this season and lies sixth in the drivers’ standings.

The 16-year-old Italian began his single-seater career in 2025 with a fourth-placed championship finish in Formula 4 South East Asia Championship, in which he finished on the podium in each of his six races in the series and took three wins.

He then finished as vice-champion in the Formula Trophy with just two podium finishes, whilst he also participated in the final rounds of last year’s Italian F4 and E4 Championship – of which he finished 15th overall with a sixth-placed finish in the latter’s season finale.

This season saw him finish fourth in the UAE4 Series with two wins which he has followed up with one pole position, two wins and two further podiums in Italian F4, whilst he finished in the top 14 in the five E4 Championship races that he participated in this season.

Maccagnani is also part of Ferrari’s driver academy.
