2025 F1 world champion, Lando Norris has launched a new junior single-seater team branded LN4 Fusion.
Norris’ latest venture has seen him collaborate with British Karting team, Fusion Motorsport to create a new junior single-seater team, with support of an investment group led by Dan Richards who oversees LN4 Fusion’s corporate strategy, commercial development and long-term business growth.
The team will enter Italian F4, FIA Formula Regional European Championship and F3 and have acquired selected assets of AIX Racing, and are in the procession of the application process to participate in F2
Explaining the team’s initial ambitions, Norris simply wants to create a team that is capable of fighting top teams in junior categories, with some iconic names across the industry including Rene Rosin involved in the project.
“The aim is pretty simple. We want to build a team that can compete with the very best in all the junior categories. We’ve brought together a very strong group of people with a huge amount of experience in the sport. And we want to build it into something properly for the long term.
“I’ve been through the whole journey myself, from karting, to all the categories, to Formula 1, to winning a world championship. So I know what it takes and how important it is to have the people and the team around you as a race driver. We all have the same ambition, to create the leading junior racing team.”
Norris however also possesses a long-term ambition of staying involved in motorsport beyond the end of his F1 career and support new emerging talent.
“I think the main part of this for me is I get to simply stay very involved in racing, and because this is a very long-term project, it’s not just a two-year, five-year, 10-year. Hopefully this is much longer.
“It’s about always having a team that I can support myself, always having a team that I can really feel a part of, be my family, be cars that I see on TV that I can support. At the minute, it’s kind of just been the teams I’ve been with in the past, or maybe I support certain drivers, but this is my team, a story that we can create over the years and to support drivers as well.”
Ex PREMA Team Principal, Rosin will take up the same role within LN4 Fusion as a mark of the team’s strengthening across the motorsport industry, whilst he brings experience, sporting expertise and a proven track record in the junior categories of guiding drivers into F1.
Rosin is delighted at embarking on a fresh chapter in his motorsport career and be involved in Norris’ ambition to make the team a championship contender, whilst developing a path up the single-seater ladder for young players.
“Motorsport has always been my passion and my professional life. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute my experience to an independent, vision-driven sporting programme with strong backing, a clear long-term vision and the resources required to build it properly.
“Having Lando on board adds a further dimension to this project. He has come through the junior single-seater ranks and understands its demands. His involvement will make a real difference to the team.
“We want to develop a pathway through junior single-seaters and create an environment in which drivers, engineers and sporting personnel can perform at the highest level. My role is to focus on racing: building and managing the sporting programme, creating the right technical environment and helping the team become competitive.”
Dan Hazlewood meanwhile will serve as the UK Operations Team Principal covering the team’s racing activities within the UK, which includes extensive F4 testing ahead of their maiden entry into the British F4 Championship to create a path from karting into single-seater racing.
Guillaume Capietto will serve as Racing Director and oversee the sporting and technical aspects across the whole team.
F2 CEO, Bruno Michel is proud to see 2018 F2 runner-up, Norris express his interest in applying for LN4 Fusion to join the F2 grid following their acquirement of AIX Racing’s F2 entry.
“I’m very pleased to see that Lando Norris, who is the first F2 graduate to have become a Formula 1 World Champion, is showing interest in getting involved in an F2 team. LN4 Fusion has taken over AIX Racing and will be applying for an entry for the next three-year cycle of Formula 2, which will run from 2027 until 2029.”
Michel has confirmed that LN4 Fusion will replace AIX Racing in F3 after this season as he welcomed Norris’ involvement in the category and thanked AIX Racing for their work across the last three seasons.

Norris will also launch a LN4 Legacy Programme which is designed to be an independent fully-funded driver development programme in conjunction with ADD Management, with Julian Rouse leading the process to identify and provide support to young talented drivers whilst removing financial barriers.
Drivers on that programme will also be granted high-standard coaching, mentoring, performance and career support in their motorsport journey.
