Bradford City have signed midfielder, Kieran Morgan on a season-long loan from QPR.
Morgan’s loan switch comes after he scored three goals and created three assists in 61 appearances across the last two seasons at QPR, having joined the Hoops from Tottenham Hotspur in May 2024 following his release.
In his first interview as a Bantam to the club’s official website, Morgan spoke of his excitement at his loan move and playing in front of the fans.
“I am really excited. The stature of the club is what really drew me towards it. I really cannot wait to put the shirt on.
“It is obviously a nice feeling for a club as big as this to want me. It is one of the biggest clubs in the EFL, and it will be a brilliant experience to play in front of the supporters.
“Hopefully it will be soon when I get out there and give the fans a good welcome.”
Morgan added that he also wishes to contribute towards another promotion push after Bradford reached last season’s play-off semi-finals in League One under manager – Graham Alexander.
“Hopefully I can help out as much as I can on and off the pitch.
“I want to play as much as I can. Playing for Bradford City is an honour; they are one of the biggest clubs in League One, and you can see what they did last season by finishing in the play-offs.
“As soon as I spoke to the manager, I called my agent and told him this is where I want to be.
“It helps a lot when you have the direction from the manager; having the same mindset on and off the pitch is a big factor in being successful.”
Bradford manager, Alexander feels that the 20-year-old will fit into the club and has the passing ability to contribute successfully to the team.
Kieran already has a good amount of games under his belt in the Championship, and will fit into our system smoothly.
“He has an excellent passing range and energy to cover the pitch. He will no doubt show his skill set while with us.”
