Liverpool face Nottingham Forest at Anfield as both teams chase their first win of the 2026-27 Premier League season.
Victory would move Liverpool into the top two for at least a few hours, whilst Forest can stay out of the relegation zone for another matchweek with at least a draw.

Liverpool have no fresh injury concerns after their 2-2 draw at Newcastle.
Conor Bradley (knee), Hugo Ekitike (Achilles), Federico Chiesa, Joe Gomez (both muscle) and Giovanni Leoni (ACL) remain absent.
Forest could have Morgan Gibbs-White back in contention after he missed their Carabao Cup exit against Leeds due to a minor MCL injury.
Neco Williams and Ryan Yates are doubts due to knocks but Nicolo Savona is still sidelined with a knee injury.
Liam Delap could make his debut following his move from Chelsea on Thursday.

Prediction
Although Liverpool’s attack is clearly strong as evident by their fightback twice to equalise at Newcastle, their defence is clearly their weak point which needs to change if they’re to fight for a top-four finish because the way they conceded Newcastle’s second goal was just poor.
Forest meanwhile need to find their clinical end product because they were wasteful in both their league and cup matches against Leeds, but their defence otherwise looks pretty solid aside from small costly mistakes so hopefully they can give Liverpool a test.
I however just expect Andoni Iraola’s Reds to get that first win under their new manager but Forest hopefully can give them a decent fight, as I can see both teams scoring if Liverpool’s defence is still sloppy.
