BBC and ITV Announce Round of 32 Broadcast Picks at 2026 FIFA World Cup

BBC and ITV have announced their UK broadcast picks across the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

With first pick in this round, BBC will air England’s tie against DR Congo/Senegal on Wednesday 1 July at 5pm BST live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions qualified as Group L winners, whilst DR Congo advanced as the top-ranked third-placed team after a 3-1 comeback win over Uzbekistan.

BBC’s first live match will be Germany’s meeting against Paraguay on Monday 29 June at 9:30pm BST, whilst they will also air;

• Ivory Coast vs Norway (6pm, 30 June)
• USA v Bosnia & Herzegovina (1am, 2 July)
• Spain v Austria (8pm, 2 July)
• Portugal v Croatia (00:00am, 3 July)
• Switzerland v Algeria (4am, 3 July)
• Australia v Egypt (7pm, 3 July)

ITV will have the first Round of 32 match between South Africa and Canada tonight (28 June) at 8pm, as well as Brazil’s showdown against Japan on 29 June (6pm) and Netherlands’ encounter against Morocco at 2am on 30 June.

ITV’s selection also includes a tasty tie between France and Sweden on 30 June at 10pm in the first of a double-header, followed by Mexico’s battle against Ecuador on 1 July at 1am, whilst they will show Belgium’s clash against Senegal at 9pm on 1 July.

UK coverage of the Round of 32 will conclude with another double-header on ITV as Argentina meet Cape Verde at 11pm on 3 July, before Colombia brings the round to a close against Ghana at 2:30am on 4 July.
