Australian forward, Caitlin Foord has signed a new two-year contract at Arsenal.
Foord’s contract was set to expire at the end of June but following successful discussions, the 31 year-old forward – who can also play as a winger and right wing-back – has signed a new two-year contract until June 2028.
Foord first arrived at Arsenal in January 2020 and has gone on to score 57 goals in 203 appearances for the North London club, and has helped them achieve four trophies in total which includes Women’s League Cup in 2022-23 & 23-24 seasons then UEFA Women’s Champions League title in May 2025.
In a short statement confirming Foord’s new contract, Arsenal spoke of their pride at her decision to stay with the club.
“Everyone at the club looks forward to Caitlin’s continued contribution and impact here at Arsenal.”
Her recent success with Arsenal came earlier this year when they won the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup at home with a 3-2 extra-time victory over Brazil’s Corinthians in the final at Emirates Stadium.
