2025-26 UEFA Champions League Final Preview

PSG look to complete their title defence against Arsenal in the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League Final.

Victory would see PSG claim their second Champions League title, whilst Arsenal are chasing their first title at this level of UEFA competitions.

Team News

Ousmane Dembele is available for PSG after recovering from a calf injury suffered in their 2-1 Ligue 1 loss to Paris FC on 16 May.

Achraf Hakimi (hamstring) and Nuno Mendes (thigh) are fit for selection but Lucas Chevalier (hamstring) is ruled out.

Arsenal will welcome David Raya back in goal after he was rested in their 2-1 Premier League victory at Crystal Palace.

Jurrien Timber could return after an eight-week absence due to an ankle injury, but Noni Madueke is a doubt after he suffered a minor hamstring injury at Palace.

Ben White (knee) remains absent.

When is Kick-Off?

PSG meet Arsenal at Puskas Arena, Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday 30 May at 6pm CEST (5pm UK Time), live on TNT Sports 1 and HBO Max in the UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Having had a fortnight of preparation time and with the title to defend, PSG can’t afford to be underestimated especially after how they demolished Arsenal’s fellow English clubs – Chelsea and Liverpool in the knockout stages, which demonstrates their dangerous quality.

Bayern Munich however exposed PSG’s defensive vulnerability in the first leg of their semi-final before the reigning champions clinically grinded out a second-leg draw, which gives Arsenal hope if they can attack PSG on counter-attacks.

Arsenal also have the added advantage of having only finished their domestic season last Sunday despite having rested some regulars in their clinical win at Palace, whilst their Champions League defensive record offers extra belief if can nail their tactics here.

Although PSG probably look too strong on paper, I just feel that Arsenal is ready to lift the Champions League title if Mikel Arteta and his players nail the game plan, which probably will require some defensive grinding at times to weather PSG’s pressure.

Prediction: PSG 1-2 Arsenal
