Defender, Ryan Sessegnon has signed a new one-year contract extension at Fulham until June 2027.
Sessegnon had returned to Fulham in July 2024 on a free transfer following his five-year stint at Tottenham and has gone on to score six goals in 52 appearances, taking his total number at Craven Cottage to 31 goals in 172 appearances across his two spells.
“Of course, it’s the Club that I’ve always wanted to be at,” explained Sessegnon to FFCtv on his decision to sign a new contract extension beyond this season.
“I’m very comfortable at this Club, I’m happy with how it’s going, last season and now this season as well, and I just want to finish the season strongly.”
Vice-Chairman and Director of Football Operations, Tony Khan added: “I am thrilled to announce that Ryan Sessegnon’s contract option has been triggered, and that he will extend his time here at Fulham for at least another year.
“Ryan spent much of his childhood in the Club, developing under the guidance of the Fulham Academy leadership, making his first league start in the Championship in 2016 at the age of 16, and then winning the Championship Player of the Season the following year at age 17, before his pass set up Tom Cairney’s promotion-sealing goal at Wembley Stadium in the EFL Championship Play-Off Final in 2018 following his 18th birthday.
“After spending five years away, Ryan came home in 2024 and has made important contributions since his return to the Club. Ryan is a tremendous professional and a wonderful person, and we’re all excited that he will be back next season!”
