EFL have announced details of the 2025-26 Promotion Play-Offs schedule.
The post-season promotion play-offs will commence on Friday 8 May as the sixth-placed team host the third-placed team in the opening semi-final first leg of the Championship Play-Offs at 8pm BST, before they meet in the reverse leg on Monday 11 May in the same timeslot.
The second Championship Play-Off semi-final first leg between fifth and fourth-placed clubs will take place at 12:30pm on Saturday 11 May, with the return leg schedules Tuesday 12th May at 8pm.
League One’s Play-Off first legs will be played on Saturday 9 May at 3pm and 8pm respectively, before the third-placed team host the sixth-placed team in their reverse leg on Wednesday 13 May at 8pm, with the fourth-placed club hosting the fifth-placed club 24 hours later on Thursday 14 May.
League Two will commence their play-offs on Sunday 10 May as the seventh-placed club entertain the fourth-placed team at 3pm in the first leg of their semi-final tie, before the sixth and fifth-placed clubs meet at 6pm that same day.
The reverse legs of the League Two Play-Off semi-finals will be played on Friday 15th May, with the fourth-placed team at home to the seventh-placed team in a 7:15pm kick-off, whilst the fifth-placed club host the sixth-placed club at 8pm.
The Play-Off Finals will be held across 23-25 May at Wembley Stadium, London, with the Championship’s showpiece scheduled for Saturday 23 May followed by League One’s Play-Off Final on Sunday 24 May.
Monday 25 May sees the EFL season conclude with the League Two Play-Off Final, although the kick-off times for all three play-off finals will be confirmed closer to the date.
