Manchester United look to consolidate their top-four push against Crystal Palace in a huge Premier League clash.
Victory would lift Man Utd up to third in the table, whilst Palace can climb to tenth if Fulham lose elsewhere.
Team News
Lisandro Martinez is a doubt for Man Utd due to a minor calf injury which forced him to miss their 1-0 league win at Everton.
Mason Mount (knock), Patrick Dorgu (hamstring) and Matthijs De Ligt (back) are still ruled out.
Palace have no fresh injury concerns after their 2-0 home win against Zrinjski Mostar in the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League.
Jefferson Lerma (hamstring), Eddie Nketiah (muscle), Jean-Philippe Mateta and Cheick Doucoure (both knee) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Man Utd host Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday 1 March at 2pm GMT, live on Sky Sports Main Event in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Man Utd have won one of their last five league meetings against Palace (W1, D1, L3).
- Palace have lost two of their last seven league visits to Man Utd (W4, D1, L2).
- Man Utd haven’t done the league double against Palace since 2017-18 season.
- Benjamin Sesko has scored in three of Utd’s last four matches.
- Evann Guessand has scored in both of Palace’s last two matches in all competitions (W2).
Prediction
Despite not having too many periods of dominance at Everton in a scrappy evenly-matched match, Man Utd were lucky that Benjamin Sesko continued his recent form to snatch a big win but they can’t rely on him to dig them out of bother like he has done lately.
Palace meanwhile have developed decent away form at Old Trafford in recent seasons and are coming into this game off the back of two clean sheets, although they did need to be patient for their two goals against Zrinjski Mostar in a dominant controlled display on Thursday evening.
I however do expect them to do more defending here given Utd’s home form since Michael Carrick took charge, but if they defend well and can be clinical once again then they might surprise some and nick a point.
Prediction: Man Utd 1-1 Crystal Palace
Result: Man Utd 2-1 Crystal Palace
