Bradford meet Stockport County in a huge midweek Sky Bet League One clash in the race for the play-offs.
Victory would lift Bradford above Stockport into fourth in the table, whilst Stockport could go third with a win if Bolton lose heavily elsewhere.
Team News
Max Power is serving the first of a two-match ban for Bradford after he picked up his tenth booking in their 2-0 victory at home to Peterborough on Saturday (14 February).
Louie Sibley could return if he passes a late fitness test following a recent ankle injury.
Stockport will be without Josh Dacres-Cogley after he was red carded in their goalless draw against Leyton Orient on 7 February, but otherwise have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 4-0 EFL Trophy win at Port Vale.
Louie Barry (knee) and Arttu Hoskonen (muscle) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Bradford host Stockport at Valley Parade on Tuesday 17 February at 7:45pm GMT, live on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Bradford have lost one of their last five league meetings against Stockport (W1, D3, L1).
- Stockport have won one of their last five trips to Bradford (W1, D2, L2).
- Bradford haven’t played out consecutive draws at home to Stockport since September 1976 and 78, which ended in 3-3 and 1-1 results respectively,
- Graham Alexander’s Bantams have won just two of their last six league matches (W2, L4).
- Stockport have kept just two clean sheets in their last six league games (W4, D2).
Prediction
Sat ten points from the automatic promotion spots but six points clear of seventh-placed Reading after a recent slump in form, Bradford simply need to knuckle down now and focus on consolidating a play-off spot after a dominant attacking display against Peterborough.
Stockport meanwhile have had a week to prepare for this match after their ruthless 4-0n EFL Trophy victory at Port Vale, so I am expecting a strong display from them although they like Bradford are trying to consolidate their play-off spot unless there is a sudden slump from Cardiff and Lincoln City.
Whilst both teams will ideally want to win to keep their automatic promotion bid alive in case those above slip up, I do think that this could be a tight game with a point apiece.
Prediction: Bradford 1-1 Stockport County
Result: Bradford 1-0 Stockport County
