2025-26 Premier League: Week 26 – Everton vs Bournemouth

Everton face Bournemouth in a huge mid-table clash in the race for European qualification.

Victory will keep Everton eighth in the table, whilst Bournemouth can leapfrog David Moyes’ Toffees into eighth if win by two goals or more.

Team News

Everton have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 2-1 comeback victory at Fulham.

Jack Grealish remains ruled out with a foot injury.

Bournemouth too have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 1-1 draw at home to Aston Villa.

Tyler Adams could return after nearly two months out with a knee injury, but Andoni Iraola won’t rush him straight back into the team unless he passes late fitness checks.

Julio Soler (unspecified), Ben Doak, Marcus Tavernier (both hamstring) and Justin Kluivert (knee) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Everton host Bournemouth at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday 10 February at 7:30pm GMT, live on TNT Sports 5 in the UK.

Prediction

Sat just seven points off fourth place in the table, Everton know that they just need to continue their current form but pick up more wins – especially after a clinical comeback at Fulham which was fairly evenly-matched.

Bournemouth meanwhile are in similar form but they should be frustrated to had only drawn against Villa given how dominant their attacking play was when on top, so I would like to see them try and bring more composure and clinical finishing.

Iraola’s Cherries also know that victory by two goals or more will see them move above Everton and get their push for European qualification back on track – given that the league is their only route into Europe, but I can see Everton having enough to grind out a close draw.

Prediction: Everton 1-1 Bournemouth

Result: Everton 1-2 Bournemouth
