2025-26 Premier League: Week 14 – Wolves vs Forest

Wolves continue their fight for survival against fellow strugglers, Nottingham Forest.

Victory would see Wolves stay rock bottom but pick up a first league win of the season, whilst Forest can stay 16th with a win and potentially move four points clear of the relegation zone.

Team News

Wolves could welcome Ladislav Krejci back into contention after he missed their 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa due to a knee injury.

Matt Docherty (knee) could also return but Fernando Lopez (adductor), Daniel Bentley (ankle), Leon Chiwone (ACL) and Rodrigo Gomes (groin) remain ruled out.

Forest could welcome Murillo (knock) back into contention after he sat out their 2-0 loss at home to Brighton.

Angus Gunn, Chris Wood (both knee), Ola Aina, Douglas Luiz (both hamstring), Taiwo Awoniyi (muscle), Dilane Bakwa (unspecified) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (groin) are still ruled out.

When is Kick-Off?

Wolves host Forest at Molineux on Wednesday 3 December at 7:30pm GMT, live on Sky Sports F1 in the UK.

Prediction

Having produced another resilient defensive display in their defeat at Villa, Wolves definitely added more attacking flair as I hoped they would even if they were unlucky in their final touches, so I now would like to see them bring both aspects of play together and be clinical.

Forest meanwhile were just outplayed by Brighton but did well defensively to make the Seagulls grind out their win with a late goal in each half, but this is a game where they will be expected to bounce back and win if play with their recent intensity.

I however do think that Wolves are beginning to click quickly now under Rob Edwards and if they can indeed marry their defensive and attacking improvement, I can see them snatching at least a point if Forest have another off day.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Forest

Result: Wolves 0-1 Forest
