Burnley continue their fight for Premier League survival against Crystal Palace at Turf Moor.
Victory could lift Burnley out of the relegation zone if Leeds fail to win at home to Chelsea, whilst Palace can go fifth with a win if Brighton, Sunderland and Liverpool draw elsewhere.
Team News
Burnley have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 3-1 loss at Brentford last weekend.
Zeki Amdouni (knee), Conor Roberts (Achilles) and Jordan Beyer (hamstring) remain sidelined.
Palace will be without Ismaila Sarr after he suffered an ankle injury during their 2-1 loss to Manchester United.
Borna Sosa (knock), Cheick Doucoure, Chadi Riad (both knee), Rio Cardines (adductor) and Caleb Kporha (back) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Burnley face Palace at Turf Moor on Wednesday 3 December at 7:30pm GMT, live on Sky Sports Tennis in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Burnley have lost just two of their last seven meetings against Palace (W3, D2, L2).
- Palace have lost one of their last five visits to Burnley (W3, D1, L1)
- Oliver Glasner’s Eagles are seeking three consecutive wins against Burnley for the first time since a four-match streak between January 2018 – November 2019.
- Three of Zian Flemming’s four league goals for Burnley this season were scored before half-time.
- Daniel Munoz has scored in two of Palace’s last three away top-flight matches (W1, L2).
Prediction
Still sat in the relegation zone after a pretty sloppy defeat at Brentford through two late goals after their equaliser, Burnley have to start being more clinical if want to stay up and this is the sort of winnable game that they must take their chances in if want to pressure their rivals.
Palace meanwhile certainly were undone by fatigue in the second half against Man Utd because they were excellent in the first half attack wise, but I do think that they should have killed the game off by half time if had been more clinical so more composure here would be nice to see.
I however do expect both teams to rotate and make changes but if Palace can play with their usual control and intensity and learn to kill games off when ahead, I can see them getting a comfortable away win.
Prediction: Burnley 0-2 Crystal Palace
Result: Burnley 0-1 Crystal Palace
