2025-26 Premier League: Week 10 – Burnley vs Arsenal

Burnley face a difficult test against Premier League leaders, Arsenal at Turf Moor.

Victory could put Burnley as high as 12th in the table, whilst Arsenal can move seven points clear at the summit with a win.

Team News

Burnley have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 3-2 victory at Wolves last weekend.

Jordan Beyer (hamstring), Conor Roberts (knee) and Zeki Amdouni (ACL) remain absent.

Arsenal could again be without William Saliba (unspecified) and Gabriel Martinelli (muscle), after the pair missed their Carabao Cup win over Brighton in midweek.

Martin Odegaard, Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus (all knee) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Burnley host Arsenal at Turf Moor on Saturday 1 November at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Having put some daylight between themselves and the drop in a well-fought victory at Wolves where they were clinical but they will need the same but with better defending if want to get the win here, as they did carelessly allow Wolves back in at 2-0 up even if the penalty was silly as looked a simple collision really.

Arsenal meanwhile scored 12 goals without conceding in October and with a clinical win over Brighton on Wednesday, it is hard to see their momentum being broken here such is their away form at Turf Moor, although they’ve had to dig deep in recent domestic games to get their wins.

I however don’t expect another tough scrap as this does feel like it will be a routine result although Burnley do have the attacking quality to try and take the fight to Arsenal and nick a consolatory goal if lucky.

Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Arsenal

Result: Burnley 0-2 Arsenal
