DAMS have signed Nandhavud “Jem” Bhirombhakdi to their 2026 F3 driver line-up.
Bhirombhakdi’s move into F3 comes after two seasons in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA), in which his best finish was fifth in the first Catalonian race in Barcelona this season.
DAMS consequently opted to sign the 19-year-old Thai who is “excited” to make the step up to F3.
“I’m really excited to be joining DAMS Lucas Oil for the FIA F3 next year. I want to thank the team for giving me this opportunity and can’t wait to get started.”
DAMS’ Team Owner, Charles Pic added: “We are very pleased to welcome Jem to the DAMS Lucas Oil family. He’s shown great potential and a strong work ethic for his age. We look forward to supporting his progression as he takes on the challenges of FIA Formula 3 next season.”
Bhirombhakdi began his single-seater career in F4 UAE, ADAC F4 and Italian F4 in 2022, before he focused on F4 UAE and Italian F4 in 2023 and too participated in selected rounds of F4 CEZ and Euro 4.
