Liverpool host Manchester United in a blockbuster Premier League encounter at Anfield.
Victory would lift Liverpool up to second in the table, whilst Man Utd can move up to ninth with a win.

When is Kick-Off?
Liverpool host Man Utd at Anfield on Sunday 19 October at 4:30pm BST, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Liverpool are unbeaten in their last five league meetings against Man Utd (W2, D3).
- Man Utd are winless in their last nine league visits to Liverpool at Anfield (D5, L4).
- Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah scored in both league appearances against Man Utd last season (W1, D1).
- Hugo Ekitike has scored in two of Liverpool’s three home games this season in the top flight (W3).
- Just one of Man Utd’s 10 points this season have been claimed away from home (D1, L2).
Prediction
With their sharp clinical touch having deserted them amidst some sloppy defending in their last three matches in all competitions, the international break came at an ideal time for Liverpool to reset and make tactical tweaks to unlock more attack but tighten up the defence.
Man Utd meanwhile benefitted from tactical errors from Sunderland manager, Regis Le Bris, to beat the Black Cats otherwise it could of been a different result, but they nevertheless capitalised with a win and will have confidence coming into this game.
I however do feel that Liverpool will produce a strong reaction and Man Utd will bear the brunt of that given their poor away form this season.
Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Man Utd
Result: Liverpool 1-2 Man Utd
