TNT Sports and BBC have announced the UK broadcast picks in first round of 2025-26 FA Cup.
Under the new UK TV contract, TNT will broadcast eight ties in this round – of which six ties will exclusively live starting with Forest Green Rovers’ trip to Luton on Friday 31 October at 7:30pm GMT.
The broadcaster will then air the all Non League tie between Chelmsford and Braintree at 12pm on Saturday 1 November, alongside the following three exclusive ties on Sunday 2 November
- South Shields v Shrewsbury (12pm)
- Port Vale v Maldon & Tiptree (3pm)
- Gainsborough Trinity v Accrington Stanley (5:15pm)
TNT’s exclusive selection concludes with Leyton Orient’s trip to Tamworth on Monday 3 November at 7:30pm, which will air on TNT Sports 1 alongside their other exclusive picks.
Gainsborough Trinity’s tie against Accrington however will be aired across both TNT Sports 1 and 2 as a precaution, with coverage of that game primarily on the latter channel whilst TNT Sports 1 would join at an appropriate point if Port Vale’s clash against Maldon & Tiptree need extra time and potential penalties.
BBC will meanwhile simulcast two first round ties with TNT, beginning with Notts County’s trip to Brackley on Saturday 1 November at 5:30pm, then Eastleigh’s tie against Walsall on Sunday 2 November at 2:15pm.
Both of the two simulcast games will be aired on BBC Two for FTA viewers and on TNT Sports 3 for TNT subscribers.
