2025-26 Premier League: Week Six – Leeds vs Bournemouth

Leeds United host high-flying Bournemouth in a big Premier League clash at Elland Road.

Victory could put Leeds as high as fifth depending on other results elsewhere across the day’s fixtures, whilst Bournemouth can go second with a win for at least a few hours as Tottenham don’t play until late evening.

Team News

Leeds manager, Daniel Farke could have Jayden Bogle available after he suffered a foot injury in their 3-1 comeback win at Wolves.

Dan James (knock) could return but Lucas Perri (hamstring) and Wilfried Gnonto (calf) remain absent.

Bournemouth manager, Andoni Iraola will hand midfielder, Lewis Cook a late fitness check, after he missed their goalless draw against Newcastle due to a shoulder injury.

Adam Smith (hamstring) and Enes Unal (knee) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Leeds host Bournemouth at Elland Road on Saturday 27 September at 3pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Having snapped their three-match league run without a goal in a ruthlessly clinical comeback at Wolves, Leeds now need to try and build on that result at home but they can’t start as sluggishly as they did at Molineux with initial tame marking.

Bournemouth meanwhile were held to a frustrating draw at home to Newcastle despite their more dominant attack but we know that they’re capable of delivering goals if play their best football, so I am expecting a serious response.

Leeds however are yet to concede at home this season but I expect that stat to end here because Bournemouth should just have too much for them in quality, although they should at least nick a goal if play like they did last weekend.

Prediction: Leeds 1-2 Bournemouth

Result: Leeds 2-2 Bournemouth
