Newcastle Draw Tottenham in Tasty Fourth Round of 2025-26 Carabao Cup

Newcastle continue their Carabao Cup title defence at home to Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the 2025-26 edition.

Newcastle began their title defence with a 4-1 victory at home to League One’s Bradford but will now face a tougher test at home to Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur, as the Dane chases a first-season title with Spurs.

League Two’s Grimsby Town are the lowest-ranked team left in the draw and have been handed a money-spinning home tie against Brentford at Blundell Park.

Swansea’s reward for coming from 2-0 down to eliminate Nottingham Forest is a home tie against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Arsenal and Wolves will face home ties against Brighton and Chelsea respectively in two of four overall all top-flight ties, whilst Liverpool will host Crystal Palace at Anfield almost three months on from their Community Shield thriller which Palace won on penalties.

Cardiff City’s reward for knocking out Premier League’s Burnley is a Welsh derby away at Wrexham.

League One’s Wycombe Wanderers will host Fulham at Adams’ Park as the Chairboys seek a cupset.

Ties will be played across 28-29 October with every match broadcast live across Sky Sports, whilst ITV will simulcast two ties for UK viewers.
