EFL have confirmed the details of the second round draw in 2025-26 Carabao Cup.

Like the first round, the draw for the second round will be regionalised into northern and southern sections as Premier League teams not qualified for European competitions enter at this stage.

Bromley however headline the southern section of the draw as ball number 6 after Andy Woodman’s Ravens stunned Ipswich on penalties, having held the Tractor Boys to an entertaining 1-1 draw at the Copperjax Community Stadium.

Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton, Fulham, West Ham and Wolves are the five top-flight clubs entering the southern section at this stage, and have been given ball numbers; 1, 3, 4, 11, 19 and 20 respectively.

Across in the northern section, Manchester United is the headline club after they only finished 15th in the Premier League and have been given ball number 10, as they look to enjoy a cup run without the pressure of European commitments.

Burnley, Everton, Leeds and Sunderland are the other northern Premier League clubs involved at this stage and have been handed ball numbers; 3, 6, 8 and 17 respectively.

Bradford and Doncaster will be ball numbers 2 and 5 respectively after the pair stunned Blackburn and Middlesbrough with shock away wins in the first round.

The draw will be held at approximately 19:20pm BST live on Sky Sports in the UK as part of build-up to Birmingham’s tie against Sheffield United tonight (13 August).
