Bromley will meet Wycombe Wanderers in one of the stand-out ties in the second round of 2025-26 Carabao Cup.

Andy Woodman’s Ravens will entertain League One’s Wycombe at Copperjax Stadium in the southern section, having knocked out Ipswich on penalties in the first round to advance into the second round for the first time in their history.

Four of the five Premier League to enter at this stage in the southern section will collide as Bournemouth host Brentford, whilst West Ham visit Wolves at Molineux.

Fulham will play host to the Championship’s Bristol City at Craven Cottage.

Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton will seek to avoid a cupset away at second-tier Oxford United.

Across in the northern section, Grimsby Town face a money-spinning home tie against Manchester United as the Red Devils enter this stage of the competition for the first time in 11 years, after they failed to win the Europa League title amidst a lacklustre domestic season.

Everton will begin their title bid at home to Mansfield as the Hill Dickinson’s Stadium host its first Carabao Cup tie.

A trip to Sunderland will await Huddersfield after the Terriers upset Leicester on penalties in the wake of a 2-2 draw in West Yorkshire.

Sheffield Wednesday will meet Leeds United in a Yorkshire derby at Hillsborough after the Owls overcame Bolton on penalties, following an entertaining 3-3 draw.

Second-round ties will be played between 26-27 August with the 23 winners progressing to the third round, where the nine Premier League clubs who qualified for European competitions will begin their campaign – including title holders, Newcastle United.
