Burnley have signed forward, Zian Flemming on a permanent transfer from Millwall for £7m.
Flemming spent this season on loan at the Clarets and helped them claim automatic promotion with 14 goals and four assists in 37 appearances, which has persuaded Burnley to activate an obligatory £7m clause in his loan agreement to make the transfer permanent.
Flemming has now signed a four-year contract until June 2029 at Turf Moor which left him happy to secure the permanent transfer, having known that he could make the switch on a full-time basis if he had impressed in his loan spell.
“It feels really good to be honest.
“When I signed last year, I obviously knew that I was going to sign permanently in the summer, but I’m very happy to be staying here full-time now.
“I’ve really enjoyed my first season. On and off the pitch, it’s an amazing dressing room to be a part of and I’m excited for the upcoming years.”
Millwall issued a short statement thanking Flemming for his time at the club in which he scored 23 goals in 92 appearances across 2022-23 & 23-24 seasons.
“The club would like to thank Zian for his service whilst at Millwall and wish him all the best for the future.”
