BBC and ITV have announced their 2024-25 FA Cup semi-final picks which will be played across 26-27 April.
BBC held first pick at the semi-finals stage for the final time under the current all free-to-air contract, which has seen them select Crystal Palace’s tie against Aston Villa which will kick off at 5:15pm BST on Saturday 26 April live on BBC One in the UK.
Palace and Villa both came through their Quarter-Final ties at Fulham and Preston North End as 3-0 away winners respectively.
ITV consequently were left with the second pick which will see high-flying Nottingham Forest meet last season’s runner-up, Manchester City on Sunday 27 April live on ITV1 and ITVX in the UK, with kick-off confirmed for 4:30pm.
Forest needed penalties to beat Brighton – which was their third consecutive penalty shootout in this season’s competition – following a goalless draw, whilst Man City came from behind to eliminate Bournemouth.
Both semi-finals will be played at Wembley Stadium, London, with the winners then meeting at the same venue on Saturday 17 May in the final, with kick-off time to be confirmed upon completion of the semi-finals.
