2024-25 Premier League: Week 30 – Wolves vs West Ham

Wolves continue their push for Premier League survival in a home clash against West Ham at Molineux.

Victory would move Wolves 12 points clear of the drop in 17th position, whilst West Ham can climb to 14th with at least a draw for 24 hours at minimum.

Team News

Wolves have no fresh injury or suspensions to report following their 2-1 win at Southampton before the international break.

Matheus Cunha (suspension), Yerson Mosquera (knee), Leon Chiwone, Sasa Kalajdzic and Enso Gonzalez (all ACL) remain sidelined.

West Ham could welcome Vladimir Coufal and Niclas Fullkrug back from hamstring injuries.

Crysencio Summerville (hamstring) and Michail Antonio (leg) remain ruled out.

When is Kick-Off?

Wolves host West Ham at Molineux on Tuesday 1 April in a 7:45pm BST kick-off, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Despite enjoying a nice nine-point gap to the relegation zone at the start of this season’s run-in, Wolves can’t afford to rest and need to be just as clinical as they were at Southampton despite poor marking of Paul Onuachu’s goal costing them a clean sheet.

West Ham can afford to rest slightly with their 17-point gap to the bottom three but after some sloppy late defending cost them a clinical counter-attacking win, they really need to continue to improve if want to make mathematically sure of their likely survival.

I though don’t expect a classic here between two teams who clearly got defensive issues so a draw would be a fair call.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 West Ham

Result: Wolves 1-0 West Ham
