Sat nine points from safety and needing a combination of a winning run until end of season plus luck swinging their way, Carlisle really need to find a way to cut out their defensive sloppiness now but still deliver a clinical spark starting with this game.
Bromley meanwhile might feel hard done in having twice conceded from in front against Walsall in a game where they were excellent attack wise, but two small defensive mistakes cost them a potentially vital win so I am hoping that their extended preparation time will help them avoid another away slip as saw at Tranmere a fortnight ago.
Andy Woodman’s Ravens also have an outside shot of the play-offs but they realistically now need a winning run between now and end of season if they’re to achieve a spot, which I can see starting here if can get at Carlisle’s vulnerable defence.
