Luton Town meet Plymouth Argyle in a rearranged relegation six-pointer showdown at Kenilworth Road.
Victory will lift Luton off the foot of the table and above Plymouth, whilst Plymouth can climb out of the relegation zone with a win.
Team News
Luton have no fresh injury concerns to report following their narrow loss to Sheffield United.
Reece Burke (quad), Tahith Chong (hamstring) and Teden Mengi (knee) remain ruled out.
Plymouth could be without forward, Ryan Hardie after he suffered a back injury in their 2-0 loss at Blackburn.
Brendan Galloway (hip) and Joe Edwards (hamstring) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Luton host Plymouth on Wednesday 19 February at Kenilworth Road in a 7:45pm GMT kick-off, live on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Luton have lost one of their last six meetings against Plymouth (W3, D2, L1).
- Plymouth have lost one of their last seven league visits to Luton (W3, D3, L1).
- Both Luton and Plymouth scored in three of their last four meetings, except for a 0-0 draw in League One in March 2019.
- Luton have lost two of their three home games in 2025 by 1-0 results against Norwich and Millwall respectively, whilst they drew 0-0 against Preston in their other home clash
- Plymouth are winless away from home in the league this season (D4, L12).
Prediction
Having wasted several chances in a pretty unlucky loss to Sheffield Utd, Luton really need to find their clinical edge but continue to defend well because a win here is imperative if want to realistically give themselves a stronger chance at survival.
Plymouth though won’t be easy visitors after they pushed Blackburn hard for much of their eventual loss, but this game will feel more winnable if can begin to bring their recent improved home performances onto the road, yet Hardie is likely a huge loss for a team who has scored twice in one of their last seven away league games.
In fact I do expect this game to be pretty scrappy given what is at stake for both teams in the fight for survival but if Luton can find their end product, I fancy them to nick this.
Prediction: Luton 1-0 Plymouth
Result: Luton 1-1 Plymouth
