Willian has re-joined Fulham on a short-term contract until the end of 2024-25 season.

This move marks Willian’s third spell at the club after he previously signed separate one-year contracts for 2022-23 then 23-24 seasons, in which he scored 10 goals in 67 appearances for the Cottagers prior to an unsuccessful move to Greece’s Olympiacos last summer.

“I’m really happy to be back here,” commented Willian on his return. “I think it’s a great opportunity again to play for this Club, and I’m fully motivated to get on the pitch and do things well for this Club.

“I’m completely happy, my family’s happy. We are happy to be back, and I think we can do good things until the end of the season, so I can’t wait to start with my teammates and do good things inside the pitch.”

Vice-Chairman and Director of Football Operations, Tony Khan added that he is “delighted” to welcome Willian back to Craven Cottage.

“He made a great impact during his time at the Club previously, he is excited to come back and play for Marco again, our supporters and everyone at the Club are very happy that he’s rejoined us for the remainder of the season!”

Willian could make his on-pitch return for Fulham away at Wigan on Saturday (8 February) in a FA Cup fourth-round trip to Wigan.
