Leyton Orient host Stockport County in a huge clash in the race for the 2024-25 League One play-offs.
Victory will lift Leyton Orient above their visitors into fifth position, whilst Stockport can climb to fourth with a win or draw if Huddersfield lose elsewhere.

Stat Attack
- Leyton Orient have won three of their last five EFL meetings against Stockport (W3, L2).
- Stockport have lost one of their last six EFL visits to Leyton Orient (W3, D2, L1).
- Leyton Orient have lost two of their last three EFL matches at home to Stockport by 3-0 results.
- Leyton Orient have kept clean sheets in their last six league matches at home (W5, D1).
- Stockport are unbeaten in their last five league visits to London-based opposition (W4, D1).
Prediction
Coming into this game unbeaten in 11 league games during which they only conceded four goals across two of those matches, Orient can’t afford to get complacent and must keep trying to continue this form especially with a tricky FA Cup tie at home to Manchester City coming up next weekend.
Stockport though come into this game having won their last three games after a recent dip in form and certainly grinded out their win over Shrewsbury, but their defence will need to be even better here if want to quieten a confident Orient attack which looks red-hot at the moment.
Throw in the fact that both teams are chasing a play-off spot and this should initially be a tight battle but I do fancy Orient to scrape the win if they continue playing like they’re currently.
Prediction: Leyton Orient 2-1 Stockport County
Result: Leyton Orient 0-1 Stockport County
