Roundup of festive Premier League action with implications at both ends of the table.

Second-half goals from Curtis Jones and Mohamed Salah saw league leaders – Liverpool come from behind to beat Leicester, after Cody Gakpo cancelled out Jordan Ayew’s early goal.

Kai Havertz’s 23rd-minute tap-in fired Arsenal past second-bottom Ipswich and up to second, albeit six points off Liverpool.

Chelsea dropped to third with a shock first home loss to Fulham in 45 years as Rodrigo Muniz netted a comeback 95th minute winner for the Cottagers, after Harry Wilson cancelled out Cole Palmer’s opener.

Nottingham Forest round out the top four following Anthony Elanga’s 28th minute winner against Tottenham, but Spurs finished a man down after Djed Spence’s red card in injury-time.

Down in the relegation zone, Southampton remain rock-bottom and winless in their last eight following a 1-0 home loss to West Ham, in which Jarrod Bowen netted a 59th-minute winner from close range.

Wolves climbed out of the relegation zone at Leicester’s expense with a clinical 2-0 home win over Manchester United, in which Matheus Cunha curled in from a corner then set up Hwang Hee-Chan’s strike on a 90th minute counter-attack.

Crystal Palace moved three points above the drop after a goalless draw at Bournemouth, just like in their last Boxing Day clash in 2015.
