Joshua Duerksen is staying with AIX Racing for 2025 F2 season.
Duerksen finished tenth in his rookie season with 87 points during which he recorded four podium finishes; consisting of wins in Azerbaijan Sprint plus Abu Dhabi Feature Race plus third-placed finishes at Imola and Monza.
The 21 year-old Paraguayan is now “really excited” to continue in F2 with AIX Racing after he topped the second day of the post-season test, and is now targeting a strong second campaign with continuity from the recent season.
“We had a great season this year, having four podiums and two wins. And of course, I hope that next year we can replicate a lot more of this success.
“The progress of the year has been incredible. And I am just extremely happy that you can see me with these colors again next year.”
AIX Racing Sporting Director, Roland Rehfeld added that he was keen to continue Duerksen’s progress and stick to the saying that you shouldn’t “… change a winning Team.”
“We are more than happy to start a second consecutive year with Joshua in 2025, who was, without any doubt, the most progressing and also surprising Driver in F2 2024.
“We were aware of his talent and work-ethic and beside that having a great personality.
“His achievements 2024 are underlining our ambitious goal, to fight permanently for the top ranks in 2025. Everyone is highly motivated and delighted to continue 2025 were we finished with Joshua in 2024.”
