Rangers host Tottenham Hotspur at Ibrox in the league phase of 2024-25 UEFA Europa League.
Victory would see Rangers stay in the top eight, whilst Tottenham will leapfrog their Scottish hosts and return to the top eight with a win.

Stat Attack
- Rangers are winless in two previous meetings against Tottenham (L2), which both came in a first round tie in 1962-63 UEFA European Cup Winners’ Cup.
- Tottenham won 3-2 in their only previous competitive trip to Rangers in December 1962.
- Rangers are yet to keep a clean sheet against Tottenham in all competitions.
- Two of Rangers’ five goals at home in this league phase were scored by Tom Lawrence.
- Tottenham have scored twice in each of their two away games in the league phase.
Prediction
Unbeaten in their last eight matches and having scored 10 goals in their last three without conceding, Rangers have finally found their gears so shouldn’t be underestimated especially when on the attack.
Tottenham meanwhile will be disappointed at how they defensively blew their 2-0 lead against Chelsea in a 4-3 loss after a fast start, but they do have enough attacking quality to cause issues if can show more defensive focus.
Nevertheless this should be a good scrap given Spurs’ inconsistencies but I do feel that Tottenham should have the edge.
Prediction: Rangers 1-2 Tottenham
Result: Rangers 1-1 Tottenham
