Ritomo Miyata has joined ART GP for 2025 F2 season.
Miyata spent his rookie campaign with Rodin Motorsport but only finished 19th in the overall standings with eight top-ten finishes, which included a pair of fifth-placed finishes in Australia.
The 25 year-old Japanese driver will now move to ART GP for his second season which has filled him with pride at getting another chance in F2.
“I am deeply grateful to Morizo-san (Akio Toyoda) and the entire TGR team for giving me another opportunity to race in Formula 2. I would also like to express my sincere thanks to ART Grand Prix for warmly welcoming me to their team.
“ART Grand Prix is a prestigious team in the world of motorsport, and I feel honoured and excited to compete alongside them as a driver.
“Building on the lessons learned from the 2024 season, I will give my best with Morizo-san, TGR and ART Grand Prix.”
ART GP Team Principal, Sebastien Philippe is “delighted” to sign Miyata and is confident that he can build upon his rookie experiences.
“With his previous experience in F2 and impressive results in single-seater racing, Ritomo has all the qualities needed to take on this challenge.
