Liverpool meanwhile should be thankful for Storm Darragh postponing their Merseyside derby at Everton, as they looked pretty sloppy in their 3-3 draw at Newcastle which hopefully means a polished display here.
If Liverpool can make that improvement, this game should be a routine result but Girona haven’t been easy to beat at home in this competition.
