2024-25 Premier League: Week 15 – Ipswich vs Bournemouth

Relegation battling Ipswich face Bournemouth at Portman Road.

Victory will put Ipswich within one point of safety, whilst Bournemouth can go sixth if Brighton and Fulham both lose elsewhere.

Team News

Ipswich have no fresh injury concerns to report following their defeat to Crystal Palace.

Axel Tuanzebe (hamstring), George Hirst (knee) and Chiedozie Ogbene (Achilles) remain ruled out.

Bournemouth will be without Marcos Senesi after he missed their midweek win over Tottenham with a quad injury.

Julian Araujo, Luis Sinisterra (both hamstring) and Alex Scott (knee) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Ipswich host Bournemouth at Portman Road in a 2pm GMT kick-off on Sunday 8 December, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Following a lacklustre display in their defeat to Palace in which they lost by a single goal despite little quality, Ipswich need to just reset and rediscover their spark because they’re capable of a stronger result if can find their attacking edge.

Bournemouth absolutely outclassed Tottenham with a clinical yet well-managed win despite not dominating possession, so I expect more of the same attacking grit despite rotation.

In fact, I fancy Bournemouth to get the win – amidst their poor away form in this fixture – if they can produce the same quality but be more dominant on the ball.

Prediction: Ipswich 0-2 Bournemouth

Result: Ipswich 1-2 Bournemouth
