Ipswich Town host Crystal Palace at Portman Road in the fight for Premier League survival.
Victory would lift Ipswich out of the relegation zone and as high as 15th if Leicester lose elsewhere, whilst Palace likewise can go 15th with a win if Leicester fail to win their game.
Team News
Kalvin Phillips could return for Ipswich following his recovery from an unspecified injury.
Ben Johnson (knock) is a doubt but Axel Tuanzebe (hamstring) is ruled out.
George Hirst (knee) and Chiedozie Ogbene (Achilles) remain ruled out.
Palace have no fresh injury concerns following their 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle.
Daichi Kamada (suspension), Chadi Riad (knee), Adam Wharton (groin), Matheus Franca (adductor) and Rob Holding (personal) remain sidelined.
When is Kick-Off?
Ipswich host Palace at Portman Road on Tuesday 3 December at 7:30pm GMT, live on Amazon Prime in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Ipswich are winless in four previous Premier League meetings against Palace (D1, L3).
- Palace have claimed four points in two previous Premier League trips to Ipswich (W1, D1).
- Ipswich have scored twice and conceded four goals in two previous Premier League games at home to Palace.
- Four of Liam Delap’s six goals this season for Ipswich were scored on his left foot.
- Palace have scored first in three of their last four away games.
Prediction
Unlucky to had not snatched a draw at Nottingham Forest, Ipswich just need to reset and continue to play with the same quality as lately but more clinical.
Palace meanwhile are continuing to find their feet now that they have hit a decent run of form, but they were pretty wasteful against Newcastle amidst an unlucky own-goal so I do expect improvement here.
This clash though does feel like a must-not lose fixture so I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends in a draw.
Prediction: Ipswich 1-1 Crystal Palace
Result: Ipswich 0-1 Crystal Palace
