Tottenham Hotspur host relegation-battling Ipswich at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Victory would see Tottenham climb to fourth in the table, whilst a win would see Ipswich climb out of the relegation zone.
Team News
Timo Werner is a doubt for Tottenham after he suffered a hamstring injury in their Europa League loss to Galatasaray.
Cristian Romero (knock) could be fit for selection.
Mikey Moore (illness), Mickey van de Ven, Wilson Odobert, Richarlison (all hamstring) and Djed Spence (groin) are sidelined.
Ipswich will be without Kalvin Phillips following his red card in their 1-1 draw against Leicester last weekend.
Harry Clarke is back from suspension but Chiedozie Ogbene (Achilles), Jack Taylor (unspecified), Jacob Greaves (hamstring) and Axel Tuanzebe (hand) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Tottenham host Ipswich at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 10 November at 2pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Tottenham are unbeaten in four of their last seven meetings against Ipswich (W3, D1, L3).
- Ipswich are unbeaten in three of their last five visits to Tottenham (W2, D1, L2).
- This is Ipswich’s first visit to Spurs’ Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in all competitions.
- Seven of Tottenham’s last eight league goals at home were scored after half-time.
- Two of Liam Delap’s five league goals for Ipswich this season were scored away from home.
Prediction
Having suffered a tough defeat at Galatasaray through sloppy defensive play amidst seven changes to the line-up, Tottenham will definitely look to bounce back at home if they can just reset and deliver their usual aggressive attacking flair.
Ipswich meanwhile were hard done by at times in their draw against Leicester but they need to be more clinical here, especially if they want to get a result here and potentially a first win of the season.
I however can see an one-way result coming because if Spurs fire on all cylinders, I can see them winning comfortably.
Prediction: Tottenham 3-1 Ipswich
Result: Tottenham 1-2 Ipswich
