Manchester United host Leicester City at Old Trafford in a huge Premier League clash.
Victory would see Man Utd at least stay 13th unless Newcastle lose by two or more goals at Nottingham Forest, whilst a win would see Leicester leapfrog Man Utd into 13th.
Team News
Amad Diallo is a doubt for Man Utd after he suffered a foot injury in their Europa League win over PAOK, during which he netted a brace.
Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire (both calf), Kobbie Mainoo (hamstring), Leny Yoro (ankle) and Tyrell Malacia (knee) remain absent.
Leicester could welcome Hamza Choudhury (shoulder) and Patson Daka (ankle) back into contention.
Bobby Reid is a doubt after an Achilles injury kept him out of their 1-1 draw at Ipswich last weekend.
Jakub Stolarczyk (ankle) is still ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Man Utd host Leicester at Old Trafford on Sunday 10 November at 2pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Man Utd have avoided defeat in three of their last five league meetings against Leicester (W2, D1, L2).
- Leicester have won one of their last seven league visits to Man Utd (W1, D1, L5).
- In 34 previous Premier League meetings between Man Utd and Leicester, Utd received just one red card to Leicester’s three sending-offs.
- Both of Alejandro Garnacho’s league goals for Utd this season were scored on his right foot.
- Jordan Ayew’s two goals for Leicester this season were both scored away from home in injury-time.
Prediction
Having stuttered to a clinical home win over PAOK on Thursday evening, Man Utd need to step it up further because they were pretty lacklustre except for Diallo’s goals, which is a concern with one game left before Ruben Amorim’s arrival.
Leicester meanwhile were wasteful at Ipswich until Ayew spared their blushes but after losing here in the Carabao Cup prior to that game, Leicester will be motivated to get a better result but their defence must do better.
I am not expecting anything wild like that Carabao Cup game but if Leicester can tighten up but be clinical, they might just get something against a sluggish Utd side.
Prediction: Man Utd 1-1 Leicester
Result: Man Utd 3-0 Leicester
