England were handed a tough 2025 UEFA Nations League group against Spain, Belgium and Portugal.
Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses drew world champions and Women’s Nations League holders, Spain in Group A3 in League A, which sets up a huge battle between both countries to top the group and qualify for knockout stages.
England will once again face Belgium like they did in the last edition plus will face Portugal, who topped their UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Qualifying group to regain their place in the top-tier.
Scotland were placed in Group A where Germany, Netherlands and Austria await in a difficult group.
Wales won promotion by topping their UEFA Women’s Euros Qualifying group, and now themselves in a competitive Group A4 alongside; Italy, Denmark and Sweden.
In League B, Republic of Ireland will face Turkey, Slovenia and Greece in Group B2.
Northern Ireland were placed in Group B1 alongside Poland, Bosnia & Herzegovina plus Romania.
The league phase will be played across six matches in a round-robin format between 19 February – 3 June 2025, with the top teams in each League A group progressing to the semi-finals between 20-28 October over two legs.
The third-placed and final will too be contested over two legs from 26 November – 2 December.
Those involved in promotion and relegation play-offs will play between 22-28 October.
