- Tottenham are visiting Rams Park for the first time in a competitive fixture.
- Yunus Akgun and Mauro Icardi has scored in each of Galatasaray’s two home games in this stage of the competition (W2).
- Only one of Tottenham’s six goals in their first three games in this stage came from the penalty spot.
Prediction
Turkey is never an easy place for any English team to go but Galatasaray do look vulnerable defensively for all of their attacking prowess, so the hosts need to be tighter if they want to keep Spurs’ expansive attack quiet.
Tottenham though were sluggish in the first half against Villa before they ruthlessly turned on their end product in the second half, so I want to see more of that second half intensity here.
If Spurs can do that and Galatasaray’s defence continues to be sloppy, I can see the North London side escaping with a win, but this does feel like it could be a cracker.
