Porto host Manchester United in the league phase of 2024-25 UEFA Europa League.
Victory will lift Porto into the knockout play-off spots, whilst Man Utd could climb into the top eight with a win depending on results elsewhere.

- Utd have scored just two goals in their four previous away trips to Porto.
- Porto have won one of their last six home games against English opposition (W1, D1, L4).
- Utd are unbeaten in their last five away visits to Portuguese opposition across all UEFA competitions (W4, D1).
Prediction
Having suffered a difficult loss away to Bodø/Glimt last week, Porto certainly rebounded at the weekend with a ruthless demolition of Arouca and I expect them to be hard to beat given that they’ve conceded just once at home this season.
Man Utd meanwhile looked second-best against Tottenham across the whole pitch with no real decent quality, and frankly were lucky to only lose 3-0 so they certainly need to mount a huge response.
I however can’t see them having enough flair to create a strong enough turnaround here, but really should be good enough for a point if can show any improvement.
Prediction: Porto 1-1 Man Utd
Result: Porto 3-3 Man Utd
