2024-25 Premier League: Week Six – Forest vs Fulham

In-form Nottingham Forest and Fulham collide in a Premier League battle at the City Ground.

Victory could see Forest climb to fourth if results elsewhere swing in their favour, whilst Fulham can go as high as sixth with a win.

Team News

Morgan Gibbs-White is suspended for Forest following his red card in their 2-2 draw at Brighton.

Willy Boly (calf), Ibrahim Sangare (hamstring) and Danilo (ankle) remain sidelined.

Fulham have no fresh injury issues to report but Carlos Vinicius (calf) remains ruled out.

When is Kick-Off?

Forest host Fulham at the City Ground on Saturday 28 September at 3pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Still yet to taste defeat in all competitions excluding penalties, Forest have been one of the early surprises this season and they showed their worth with a clinically gritty 2-2 draw at Brighton despite poor defending of both conceded goals.

Fulham meanwhile have emerged as one of the more exciting teams with their expansive attacking play, which certainly showed in a ruthless win over Newcastle in which their energy and intensity looked impressive.

I am therefore unsure as to how this match could finish but I do expect an exciting game, but Fulham do seem to have the bit between their teeth which could be the difference given Gibbs-White’s absence for the hosts.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Fulham

Result: Nottingham Forest 0-1 Fulham
