2024-25 Premier League: Week Four – Fulham vs West Ham

Fulham host West Ham in a London derby at Craven Cottage.

Victory could see Fulham climb to fifth in the table depending upon results elsewhere, whilst West Ham can move into the top ten with a win.

Team News

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 1-1 draw at Ipswich, but loan signing, Reiss Nelson could make his debut.

West Ham could be without forward, Niclas Fullkrug, after the German suffered an Achilles injury whilst on international duty.

Alphonse Areola (back) is set to return but Aaron Cresswell (hamstring) remains absent.

Carlos Soler could make his debut following his deadline day move on loan from PSG.

When is Kick-Off?

Fulham host West Ham at Craven Cottage on Saturday 14 September at 3pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Having enjoyed solid performances in their last three games in all competitions with their energetic play down the flanks, Fulham certainly should relish this test especially if Emile Smith Rowe and Nelson start together in the attacking midfield.

West Ham meanwhile were simply outplayed by Manchester City but their defensive marking of Erling Haaland’s goals were just poor, yet their attack lacked much spark so a more energetic attacking effort is needed.

If Julen Lopetegui’s Hammers can make that improvement then we got a cracking contest on the cards, which could well end in a draw unless Fulham can raise their expansive attacking quality to another gear.

Prediction: Fulham 1-1 West Ham

Result: Fulham 1-1 West Ham
