It was obvious that Ipswich wouldn’t get anything at Manchester City last weekend but they showed their counter-attacking potential, which could well be key to unlocking quality teams at times this season if can defend well too.
Their midweek Carabao Cup exit at AFC Wimbledon though might feel tough but it might be to their advantage, with plenty of time now to focus solely on building momentum in the league if want to stay up.
Fulham meanwhile seem to have found their groove with wins over Leicester and Birmingham in the last week, with their flanks looking key to their attack which will pose some issues for their opposition if not careful at the back.
I therefore am expecting a tough end-to-end battle here but if Fulham’s attack can utilise their pace, I fancy them to get another win but Ipswich should view this as a winnable game.
