Steve Clarke has made several changes to his 24-man Scotland squad for Nations League fixtures against Poland and Portugal.
Clarke’s decision to make various changes came after a disappointing Euro 2024 campaign, in which they finished bottom of Group A with just one point following a loss to Hungary in their final group match.
In goal, Angus Gunn and Zander Clark have retained their places but Rangers’ Liam Kelly has been dropped, with Robby McCrorie called up instead.
Max Johnston and John Souttar have both been recalled as Liam Cooper, Jack Hendry and Ross McCrorie were omitted, alongside Kieran Tierney who suffered a hamstring injury during the Euros.
Stuart Armstrong, Ryan Jack and Callum McGregor miss out in midfield as Ben Doak returns from injury, whilst Ryan Gauld has received his first call-up since September 2014.
Up front, James Forrest and Lewis Morgan have moved into midfield as Lyndon Dykes returns to the squad.
Tommy Conway meanwhile has retained his spot despite having been a late call-up in June for the Euros squad.
Scotland kick off their Nations League campaign at home to Poland on Thursday 5 September at Hampden Park, Glasgow, in a 7:45pm BST kick-off.
Clarke’s Tartan Army then visit Portugal in Lisbon on Sunday 8 September at 8:45pm CEST (7:45pm UK Time).
