Tottenham host Everton at Tottenham Hotspur in their first home game of 2024-25 season.
Victory would see Tottenham or Everton record their first win of the season.

When is Kick-Off?
Tottenham host Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 24 August at 3pm, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Tottenham are unbeaten in their last seven league meetings against Everton (W3, D4).
- Everton have claimed four points in their last six visits to Tottenham (W1, D1, L4).
- Spurs’ Richarlison scored three goals in two appearances against Everton last season.
- Tottenham have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 15 league matches at home (W9, L6).
- Everton avoided defeat in four of their seven visits to London-based clubs last season (W3, D1, L3).
Prediction
Having dominated much of the match at Leicester, Tottenham will be disappointed with a draw but they were simply wasteful in their end product so hopefully it will be more polished here.
Everton meanwhile just defensively imploded in the second half at home to Brighton with too many sloppy mistakes, especially after a solid attacking effort in the first half so a huge improvement is needed if want to keep Spurs quiet.
I however don’t see that happening and if Tottenham can sort out their finishing touches, they should take a routine win but clean sheets doesn’t seem to be within their capability at minute.
Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Everton
Result: Tottenham 4-0 Everton
