Robert Shwartzman will drive for Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber in Free Practice One at the 2024 Dutch GP.
Shwartzman currently is a reserve driver for Ferrari and drove in the very same session for the Scuderia last year in Zandvoort, which was followed by a FP1 run at Abu Dhabi and the post-season test.
The 24 year-old though will this year drive for Sauber in FP1 at Zandvoort and replace Valtteri Bottas, who will return to his cockpit for FP2 and throughout the remainder of the weekend.
In a post on X confirming Shwartzman’s FP1 run, Sauber commented: “The young driver, a Scuderia Ferrari reserve driver in this year’s Formula One season, will take over Valtteri Bottas’s seat for the session, with the Finn resuming driving duties for the remainder of the weekend.
“As in previous occasions, we work in partnership with Scuderia Ferrari to give young talent an opportunity in practice sessions. Good luck, Robert!”
