England Lionesses have announced four friendly fixtures across Autumn 2024.
Having secured qualification for UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 with a goalless draw in Sweden, Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses will now prepare for their title defence with four friendly fixtures in the autumn.
England will first play Germany at Wembley Stadium, London, on Friday 25 October in a 7:30pm BST kick-off, in their first meeting since England beat the Germans at that very venue to win UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 in July 2022.
The Lionesses will then head to CBS Arena, Coventry, on Tuesday 29 October for a match-up against South Africa, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm GMT, in their first meeting since England won 6-0 in Cyprus Cup in March 2009.
A blockbuster encounter against USA and ex Chelsea Women’s manager, Emma Hayes kicks off the last international window of 2024, with the friendly set for Saturday 30 November at Wembley in a 5:20pm kick-off.
Wiegman’s Lionesses will conclude the year with a trip to Bramall Lane, Sheffield, to face Switzerland on Tuesday 3 December from 7:45pm, having last beat them 4-0 in Zurich in a warm-up friendly ahead of Women’s Euro 2022.
Specific UK broadcast details will be announced in due course with ITV expected to televise at least one match on ITV1, whilst the other games are transmitted on ITV4.
