Aston Martin and Lego have launched an Aston Martin F1 Lego set, encompassing the AMR23 and Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car.

Aston Martin’s AMR and Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car are available as part of a double pack of Lego buildable Speed Champions car toys, meaning that fans can piece together the eight-time podium finishing AMR23 of the 2023 F1 season plus the safety car.

Fernando Alonso finished fourth in that season in the AMR23 which also won FIA Action of the Year award, following Alonso’s last lap overtake on Sergio Perez for third place at 2023 Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

Aston Martin confirmed that the Lego version of AMR23 will feature ‘authentic design details from the real-life version, including the Halo, rear wing and sponsors’ logos, plus a racing driver minifigure complete with Aston Martin branded overalls and helmet.’

Aston Martin’s Head of Licensing and Merchandise, Matthew Chapman is “thrilled” that the team have a Lego model for the first time in their history, allowing fans to create their own replica versions of the AMR23 and safety car.

Chapman proceeded to speak of his excitement at fans having a chance to build their own replica versions, as he commented: “We are excited about this collaboration with the LEGO Group to bring the Aston Martin Aramco and Aston Martin Lagonda brands together in one pack.

“Each model in the set showcase our famous British racing green colours, and we cannot wait for fans to get their hands on this to add to their car collections.”

LEGO Group Designer, Dan Squirrell described the collaboration as “a lifelong dream” of his after having grown up as an Aston Martin fan.

“I especially enjoyed working with the team at Aston Martin and my colleagues at the LEGO Group to get the details just right, by finding new ways to use the bricks to get the correct shapes.”

The Lego Speed Champions Aston Martin Safety Car & AMR23 set is available at selected retailers around the world, alongside LEGO stores, LEGOLAND and www.LEGO.com.
